Update July 11th, 8:50am: According to Glen T. Boyd, spokesman for the department, on July 10th, 2018 at approximately 6:45pm JPSO was recovering a stolen vehicle located at the King Frederick Apartments at 161 Frederick Rd in Gretna, LA, WJEMS was called on scene for a wellness check. No further information was giving.

Several JPSO Officers were on scene at King Frederick Apartments on Frederick Rd in Gretna,LA at 7:20pm today with WJEMS arriving on scene a few minutes later.

It is not known at this time why that many officers were needed on scene and why WJEMS was called to the scene.
