The NOPD is seeking to locate and identify a suspect believed to be responsible for a residential burglary and auto theft incident that occurred in July 30, 2018 in the 500 block of Alix Street.

At about 1:30 p.m., the pictured subject reportedly entered the victim’s residence. While inside, the subject allegedly stole the victim’s keys and a neighbor’s spare key. The neighbor’s vehicle – a blue 2014 Honda CRV bearing Louisiana license plate 520ALM.

The suspect is described as an unknown black male with a thin build, wearing a black floral print shirt and turquoise shorts.
