Today, crews for the TV series “NCIS: New Orleans” will be filming in the CBD, including a sequence that will involve simulated, special effects gunfire. The filming will take place on the 100 block of Roosevelt Way between the hours of 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Filming will be conducted under the supervision of the New Orleans Police Department and the New Orleans Fire Department. All filming is done with the knowledge and cooperation of the New Orleans Film Office through the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Economy.

NCIS: New Orleans returns for its fifth season on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 10 p.m. ET/PT (9 p.m. CT) on CBS.
