The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in locating an adult female reported as missing.

On September 17, 2018, friends and relatives reported Patricia Bennett (black female, DOB: 10-18-1956) as a missing person. Officers checked Bennett’s last known address of residence in the 8800 block of Cohn Street, but learned that she had not been seen at her residence in some time. An acquaintance of Bennett told detectives that she had been admitted to an area hospital in August of 2018, but had checked herself out. The individual also reported having possibly seen Bennett living under the Interstate 10 bridge near Claiborne Avenue and Canal Street in either late August or early September of this year.

A current picture of Bennett was not available.
