The NOPD is searching for a subject wanted in connection with a theft that occurred in the Fourth District.

The incident occurred on Monday, September 24, 2018 around 2:18 p.m. in the 4000 block of Behrman Place.

The victim placed a cell phone on the counter while being serviced by a cashier at a business in the 4000 block of Behrman Place. The victim then walked away from the counter without the phone a short time before the offender approached the counter.

The wanted subject was captured on the store’s surveillance cameras placing the victim’s cell phone into an envelope. The subject then walked away from the counter with the envelope containing the victim’s cell phone.
