The NOPD is searching for a subject wanted for attempted simple burglary of a residence in the Eighth District.

The incident occurred on July 13, 2019 around 2 p.m. in the 600 block of Dauphine Street. The wanted subject, described as an unknown white male, damaged the fence gate to the residence and then approached the rear doors of the location and damaged the wooden panels on the doors. The wanted subject failed to gain entry.
